Appu was an adorable baby But there was one thing about him.
He forgot ! He forgot what day it was , he forgot to dohis homework , he forgot to wish his teacher "Good Morning" and he even forgot to kiss his mother "Good Night" !
"An elephant never forgots darling," his mother said wearily one day,when she got him ready for school picnic."Bananas are yellow in colour ,not pink,caldlesare pink ans are bad for your teeth. Bananas are good for you and elephant are supposed to trumpet not bark. Now will you remeber that ?" " keep trying,son",said papa elephant ,"and don't let anyone get you down."Appu Started for picnic from his school . Hearing a thunder-bolt all the baby animals ran here and there and Appu was not found anywhere by the teachers . Appu fell into a hole and as he was crying for help , he remembered elephants trumpeted. "I remembered!he shouted , "elephant trumpet" and raisinghis pointed little trunk he trumpeted away loud and clear. hearing his trumpet his teachers helped him to get out of the hole where he had fallen . Appu never ever forgot his call.
